Thomas Patrick “Pat” Kelley, 72, died Thursday, June 2, 2011. He was a native Alabamian and lived in the Mobile and Daphne area for 20 years. He courageously fought cancer for 7 years. Pat spent many years in the bulk paper business and served a term as President of TAPPI while living in St. Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mildred Kelley.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ruth Kelley; daughters, Cynthia Grob, Victoria Kirkman, Susan Ulrich,

Patricia (Joe) Mitchell, Donna Grief, Sharon (Fred) Yamamoto; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; his sister, Maureen Glass and his nephews, cousins and in-laws. He will be remembered and missed by his family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on Monday, June 6, 2011 at Hughes Cremation & Funeral Service. The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm. Officiating will be Rev. David Tilney.

It was his request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 19059 Greeno Road, Fairhope, AL 36532-3899.
