Ruth L. Turner, age 91, a native of Clinton, Iowa died peacefully Monday, September 24, 2007 at a local healthcare facility. Mrs. Turner was an avid golf and bridge player. She had lived in Southern California for over 70 years and leaves many devoted
friends from coast to coast.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Agnes Brodersen, her husband,
Lt. Col. Henry M. Turner, Sr. and her sons, Henry M. Turner, Jr. and Brooks Turner.
Survivors include her sister, Helen M. Hubbs of Fairhope; her granddaughter, Stacey (Jim) Bullock and 2 great grandchildren, Mason B. Bullock and Kendall B. Bullock all of
The Woodlands, TX; 3 nieces, Judith (Marvin) Wilder of Fairhope, Marsha Karr of
Richland, WA and Terry Turner of Fullerton, CA; nephew, Fred Olson of Nipomo, CA
and a sister-in-law, Joyce Turner and nephew, Monte (Loie) Turner all of Missoula, MT and a dear friend, Wanda Crocker of Point Clear, AL and many great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Turner will be interred at Fort Richardson National Cemetery in Anchorage, Alaska.
