Pearl “Pat” Porter Guarisco, age 81, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2010 in Fairhope after a short illness. She was a longtime resident of Pt. Clear and Daphne as well as 17 years in Birmingham. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and active in the Ladies Sodality and always supportive of many charities.

Mrs. Guarisco is preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Wayne Porter of Pt. Clear and Julian S. Guarisco of Daphne. She is also preceded in death by her younger brothers, Jack Holobaugh & Tide “T.Q.” Holobaugh.

She is survived by her 4 children, Cynthia (Edwin) Ernest, Gatlinburg, TN, Paul W. (Irene) Porter, III, Mobile;, Dean (Renie) Porter, Fayetteville, GA, and Ruth Ellen Porter Martin, Daphne; her sisters,Betty Long, Renie Carlson, Sarah Parker and Martha Ruppert; 11 grandchildren and their spouses, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 4, 2010, at Christ the King Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at 9:30am until service time. Interment will be at Belforest Catholic Cemetery.
