Michele Marques Fouts, age 49, died peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2012 after a brief illness. Michele was born in Mobile and was a Licensed Professional Counselor, active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Daphne and had worked in real estate for many years. She was a loving mother, daughter and sister.

Michele is preceded in death by her mother, Dr. Luzenia Marques. Survivors include her daughter, Florence Fouts and her son, Landis Fouts both of Daphne; her fiance’, William David Oliver of Daphne; her father, Jere (Donna) Marques of Spanish Fort; two sisters, Aleta (Tommy) Hunt of Huntsville, AL and Dierdre (Ken) Aycock of Eutaw, AL; two brothers, Rene’ (Charlie) Marques of Theodore and Rhett (Christina) Marques of Enterprise, AL and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with The Rev. Thack Dyson officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dr. Luzenia Marques Memorial Scholarship, c/o The University of Mobile, Office of Development, 5735 College Parkway, Mobile, AL 36613.
