Mary Ann Black Gearhart, Age 67, born in Dayton, OH on January 26, 1945 and died in Mobile on July 20, 2012. She attended Bishop-Toolen High School and was a surgery nurse for many years working at the University of South Alabama. Everyone that knew her will always remember her for her many crafts and her kind heart. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Theresa Rauch; mother, Mary Ann Black; father James W. Black, Sr., sister, Elizabeth Cahoon, brother, James W. Black, Jr. and nephew, John R. Wood III.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years Christopher Gearhart; step-daughters, Alisha and Louise Gearhart; siblings, Kathleen (James) Daigle, Martha (Ronnie) Bouler, Therese Pollman, William Black, Clara Carley and Thomas (Norma) Black, brother-in-law, Glenn Cahoon; sister-in-law, Deborah Black; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, July 27, 2012 at Little Flower Catholic Church beginning at 12:00 noon until the 1:00pm Mass.
