It is with great sadness that the family of Marian Lett Nicholson announces her passing after a lengthy illness claimed her life on June 20, 2013. Marian was a lifelong native of Daphne, AL. In her early years, she was baptized at Macedonia Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Baldwin County Training School and she retired from the State of Alabama Department of Corrections.

Marian will be lovingly remembered by her six children, Vernon (Renee) Jackson, Glenda (Kent) Ray, Bertram Nicholson, Maria Nicholson, Victor (Glenda) Nicholson and Vincent Nicholson; Sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00pm on June 27, 2013, at Pine Grove C.M.E. Church, 26154 County Road 13, in Daphne.
