Margaret Joan Frank, best known as ‘Joan’, age 77 passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in Fairhope, Alabama after a brief time in hospice care.

She was born and educated in Schenectady, New York and graduated from LaSalle Junior College in Massachusetts. She enjoyed a professional career at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory where she met and married John N. Frank, her husband of 55 years. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Lisa LaTourette of Scottsdale, AZ, Margo Scanlon of Ballwin, MO and John Frank, also of Fairhope. Joan’s only sibling, a brother, Don Morris, resides in Bristol, Vermont. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Katy, Danny, Alayna, Alyssa and Alexa. Joan’s’ life-long love of art followed her to Fairhope where she attended classes at the Bay Rivers Art Guild where she enjoyed many friendships.
