Lois E. (Muellemann) Bottoff, 85, passed away peacefully at home in Lenox, Alabama on Sunday, November 13, 2011.
Lois was born in her Great-Grandfather Hanson’s home in Winthrop Harbor, Il., the daughter of the late Edward Z. Muellemann and Harriet J.(Torrey) Muellemann. She lived in Illinois and Wisconsin areas until 1973. After three years in San Antonio, Texas, she moved to Ithaca, New York. She was a resident of Cortland, New York from September of 1979 to August of 2005 when she moved to Lenox, Alabama.
She is survived by her daughter Judy Boswell, Lenox, Al., granddaughters: Elaine Noe of Groton NY, and Barbara Eustice, of Freeville, NY, grandsons: Gary Brown of Brooktondale, NY., Robert Hunt of Groton, NY , William Hunt of McLean, NY, Chad Boswell of Enterprise, Al, Josh Boswell of Excel, Al, and Jason Martin of San Antonio, TX, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter. She is also survived by step daughters Deborah Spano and Cathy Johnson, four step-grandchildren, and 6 step-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of nineteen years, Russell Bottoff, her daughter Marilyn (Martin) Hunt, son Mark S. Martin, parents Edward and Harriet Muellemann, step-mother Lillian Muellemann, brothers Robert, Larry, and Charles Muellemann and Great Grandson Zachary Eustice.
A family burial will be at a later time in Cortland, New York. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home, 7951 American Way, Daphne, Al.
