December 13, 1939 – April 9, 2008 In Loving Memory.
Leonard F. Penry, age 67, born in Superior, WI and a longtime resident of Daphne, died Wed. April 9, 2008. Mr. Penry was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and was a US Air Force Veteran of the Cuban Crisis and also played on the Air Force baseball team, touring all over Europe He retired from the maintenance department of SAPPI (formerly Scott/Kimberly Clark).

Survivors include his wife, Beverly C. Penry of Daphne; his daughter, Beth (Stephen) Worsham and his granddaughter, Ellie Worsham all of Phoenix, AZ. He has 5 brothers, Fred (Carlene) Penry of Daphne, Pete (Betty) Penry of Belforest, Dan (Linda) Penry of Grand Junction, CO, Jim (Billie Jean) Penry of Fairhope and Tom (Ruby) Penry of Fairhope and many other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Mass for Mr. Penry will be celebrated on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 11 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Private burial will be in the family cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice, 1040 Stanton Rd., Ste. D., Daphne, AL.
