L. Lawrence Carroll, Jr, age 79, born in Connecticut and a Mobile resident for the past 4 years, died Friday, October 2, 2009.

Mr. Carroll was a former resident of Indianapolis, IN where he retired as a city planner after 25 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Elvira Vasquez-Carroll and a son, Christopher Carroll both of Mobile; son, Kevin Carroll of Indianapolis and a daughter, Beth Carroll of Portland, OR; 3 sisters and 6 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
