Joseph H. “Joe” Goldman, Sr., 91, a resident of Spanish fort, died, Sunday, May 1, 2011 with his loving wife, La-Rue at his bedside. Mr. Goldman was born in Mobile and was a US Navy Veteran of World War II. He received his BS in Industrial Management from Springhill College. Joe retired in 1982, after forty one and a half years with ALCOA, where he held many positions in several states. Joe is preceded in death by his first wife, Edna E. Garris Goldman.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, La-Rue Elizabeth Goldman; two sons and their wives, two step-sons and their wives; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other relatives.
