Jeannine Alice Parker, 74, of the Belforest community, died Monday, February 18, 2013. She was born in Ville de Nancey, France and had worked for many years as a private duty nurse and as manager of the Tobacco Shack in Robertsdale and most recently as a team member at Target in Daphne.
Her passion in life was to help her family and friends in any way she could, even to the point of giving them the shirt off her back. She loved animals of all sorts and as a spiritual person, loved her God also.
Jeannine is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Louis and Jeanne Denise Schlachter and by four brothers, Jean, Claude, Andre’ and Rene’.
Survivors include her three children, Isabelle P. (John) Hubbard of Tuscaloosa, Prescott A. (Rhapsody) Parker, III and Edward H. Parker both of Daphne. Memere’ has four grandchildren, Parker, Lilly, Taylor and Zoey. In France she leaves three sisters, Paulette, Annette and Henriette and many other family members.
A celebration of the life of Memere’ will be at 11 am on Monday, February 25, 2013 at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 25566 Friendship Road, Daphne. The family will receive friends beginning at 9 am.
