May 19, 1916 – August 30, 2013 In Loving Memory.
Point Clear, AL

Iola Jeanne DuBrock, 97, of Point Clear, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in a local hospital. Mrs. DuBrock was born in St. Martinville, LA, one of thirteen children. She attended college for four years at Southeastern University and became a teacher in New Orleans. There she met and married her husband of sixty years, George DuBrock, on March 5, 1945. After marrying, she became a lifelong resident of Fairhope and Point Clear where she was also a school teacher. Later, she was self employed as a co-owner with George of Classic Crafts and DuBrock Antiques and was a beloved mother and grandmother. Iola is preceded in death by her husband, George and grandson, Robert DuBrock Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Henrietta ‘Marie’ DuBrock of Denham Springs, LA; her granddaughter, Cyndi (Scott) Bowman and two great-grandchildren, Lacy and Zachary Bowman all of Prairieville, LA.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, September 7, 2013 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope. The family will receive friends at 9:30am.
