Gerhard T. Syvrud,  87, born in Albany MN and a resident of Spanish Fort, AL, passed away, Friday, January 23, 2015, in a local hospital.  He was a veteran of the US Air force and was a chemist in the paper industry.

Surviving are his brother, Clifford T Syvrud and his sister, Pauline Brenden.

Services for Mr. Syvrud will be private.  Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home and Crematory, 7951 American Way, Daphne, AL.
