George Harris, age 85, born in Los Angeles, CA and a resident of Fairhope, died Saturday, March 22, 2008 after a brief illness.
Mr. Harris attended the University of Washington in Seattle and was a Navy Pilot instructor at Pensacola Naval Air Station during World War II.
He graduated from the University of Alabama and was employed by Foster and Kleiser Advertising in Seattle, AeroJet General in Sacramento and Grumman Aircraft in New York. He retired from TRW in Hawaii.
Survivors include his daughter, Christine Moyer of Lockport, New York and 3 grandsons.
Mr. Harris donated his body to science. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
