Florence Burns Hilsenbeck, age 91, born in Kimberlin Heights, TN, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009.

She received her B.S. in nursing from Vanderbilt University and was a longtime resident of Miami, FL where she was Director of Nursing at North Shore Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia DePoyster of Decatur, AL; 3 sons, Charles Hilsenbeck of Boca Raton, FL; John Hilsenbeck of Knoxville, TN and Richard Hilsenbeck of Tallahassee, FL; 2 sisters Minnie Fugate and Myrtle Grant, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She will be inurned in the Hopwood Memorial Chapel of Milligan College in Johnson City, TN where a memorial service will be held at a later date.
