In Loving Memory
August 18, 1930 – January 24, 2015
Eleanor Loraine Holman, 84, died peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, January 24, 2015. Mrs. Holman was a former resident of Daphne and had been a hospital volunteer and private duty sitter as well as a cashier in the grocery store. She was a longtime member of Galilee Primitive Baptist Church in Stapleton and was a loving mother and grandmother to the 5th generation.
Eleanor is preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Pridgen and is survived by her daughters, Sheila (Lou) Vick of Gulf Shores and Brenda Kassab of Foley; three grandsons, Allen Butler, Woody Pierce and Kevin Butler; three great grandchildren, Britny Butler Mason, Patyn Butler and Keaten Butler. She has a great great grandson, Braydn Mason, son-in-law, Rick Pridgen; her loving pet, Prince and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Galilee Primitive Baptist Church beginning at 12 noon. The funeral service will begin at 2 pm officiated by Elder Bobby Willis. Pallbearers will be, Kevin Butler, Woody Pierce, Billy Chandler, Mike Adams, Phillip Williams, and Tommy Cabaniss.
Interment will follow in Galilee Memorial Cemetery. Though flowers are welcome, the family suggest that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Galilee Primitive Baptist Church.
