In Loving Memory

Dennis T. Leibold

March 12, 1943 - December 12, 2020

Tribute

Dennis Thomas Leibold was born on March 12, 1943 in Evanston, IL and passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Barbara; his four children and loved ones, Martin and his wife Kathy, Debbie, Mark and his wife Wendi and Becky; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob, Christene, Sarah, Julia and Camdin.

He touched a plethora of lives in the many places he lived, worked and traveled. After feeling like a nomad, joking he was in the witness protection program, and threatening the family not to send the forwarding address, Dennis and Barbara landed in Daphne, Alabama in 2005. From this point forward he made it known that he never wanted to reside where palm trees would not grow.

Dennis was a strong, loving, supportive and faithful servant of God. We pray he was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven with open arms and greeted by lost loved ones, Chasin, Virginia and Cy, and Joan, to name a few. He will forever be missed and loved.

Irish Proverb: “Those we love don’t go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near.  Still loved, still missed, and very dear.”

Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 12 noon at Christ the King Catholic Church, 711 College Avenue, Daphne, AL.  The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m.
