Dana Leanne Freeman Bauer, a native of Mobile, AL and a resident of Daphne, AL, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the age of 58.
Dana was a 1981 graduate of Fairhope High School. She had numerous careers over the years. She was a pharmacy tech, a mother’s day out director, medical records clerk, and an auto injury claims tech. In her spare time, she loved doing crafts, sewing, and collecting antiques. Dana was a very loving individual. She cherished spending time with family, especially her granddaughter. Dana never met a stranger and would conversate with anyone who was willing to listen. She loved people and enjoyed doing for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver F. Freeman, Jr. and Phyllis Ann Freeman; and her sister, Lillian Arnette Freeman.
Dana is survived by her husband of 38 years, Steven L. Bauer; daughter, Marie Bertagnolli (Nicholas); granddaughter, Jude Bertagnolli; sisters, Candice Freeman Nolan (Mann) and Ann Freeman; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
SERVICES:
Graveside service and interment will be at 10:00AM, Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Jubilee Memorial Gardens with Rev. Grant Barber officiating. Hughes Funeral Home, Daphne, AL, is handling service arrangements for the family.
