Cathy Owen Pridgen, age 56, a lifelong resident of Baldwin County, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014. She was a longtime member of Galilee Primitive Baptist Church in Stapleton. She retired from Wal-Mart in Foley and loved Alabama football and spending her time doing embroidery. Cathy was a loving wife and sister.

She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Pridgen of Spanish Fort, AL; her mother, Loraine Holman of Daphne, AL; two sisters, Sheila (Lou) Vick of Gulf Shores, AL and Brenda Kassab of Foley, AL; mother-in-law, Eloise Pridgen of Saraland, AL; sisters-in-law, Diane (Dean) Bean of Semmes, AL and Judy (Larry) Johnson of Saraland, AL; brothers-in-law, Gerald (Judy) Pridgen of Chickasaw, AL and Lynn (Mary) Pridgen of Creola, AL; step-sisters, Dot and Brenda and her nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Cathy is also survived by her loving dogs, Trixie, Pepper, and Bunch.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm, on Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Galilee Primitive Baptist Church, 37295 Highway 31 North, Stapleton, Alabama 36578. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm, Elder Bobby Willis will be officiating and interment will be in Galilee Memorial Cemetery.
