July 17, 1923 – June 19, 2008 In Loving Memory.
Catherine McKenna Parker, age 84, a resident of Orange Beach for the past three years and formerly of Semmes, AL, died Thursday, June 19, 2008.

Mrs. Parker was born in Prichard and retired as an LPN from Mobile Infirmary and had worked at Providence Hospital for several years. She was also a licensed cosmetologist and was a member of St. John United Methodist Church. She lived in Childersburg, Alabama for 21 years, where she was a Girl Scout Leader and attended the Susan Bentley Sunday School class of the First Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W. D. and Lillie Saxon McKenna; three sisters, Hazel McKenna Knapp, Mamie McKenna Williams and Joyce McKenna Atchison and three brothers, Bill, Dave and Johnny McKenna.

She is survived by two sons, L. M. Fisher of Orange Beach, AL and Joseph J. (Joey) Fisher and his wife, Linda of Placerville, CA; her daughter, Linda Kay Fisher Camp and her husband, Johnny, of Childersburg, AL; and a step-son, Michael Edwin Parker of Semmes, AL; five grandchildren, Trace Maddox of Ocean Springs, MS; Melanie (Paul) Pennington of Sylacauga, AL; Joseph Charles (Dani) Fisher, of Buffalo, NY; Catherine L. Fisher and Christine T. Fisher of Placerville, CA. and 3 great grandchildren, Reese and Lindsey Royals of Sylacauga, AL and Cloe Fisher of Buffalo, NY. and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the Orange Beach United Methodist Church with Rev. Candler Cain officiating. The family is very grateful to Sarah and Angela of Southern Care Hospice for the love and care of our mother.
