May 6, 1965 – February 1, 2015
Casey Francis Leonard, 49, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015. Casey was a much beloved pillar of the Mobile music community, hearty patron of the Arts as well as a well-seasoned merchant sea officer who loved the open-water. And like his namesake, was kind-hearted and loved the animals. All who knew him appreciated his intellect and razor wit. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Gregory Leonard, Sr.; his mother, Peggy Leonard-Theiss; and brother, Joseph Gregory Leonard, Jr.
He is survived by his brother, Andrew; daughter, Sophie and as well as everyone who called him Friend.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Little Flower Catholic Church, 2053 Government St. Mobile, AL 36606. Expressions of condolence may be offered at www.hughesfh.com. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home and Crematory, 7951 American Way, Daphne, AL 36526.
