May 11, 1936 – October 31, 2010 In Loving Memory.
Carleton E. Elmore, 74, a native of Butler, Alabama and resident of the Mobile area for over 68 years, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 31, 2010.
He was employed as an inland tugboat pilot for 44 years and loved gardening, woodworking and had a great love of animals. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge #108, Dauphin Island Parkway.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Mary Irene Russell.
Surviving Mr. Elmore is his wife, Janet S. Elmore, Theodore; Sons, Carleton (Cindy) Elmore, Belforest and Raymond Elmore, Tennessee; daughter, Barbara Henderson, Buffalo, NY and 2 stepsons, Bill (Brenda) Higgins, Gainesville, GA and Andy (Peggy) Higgins, Theodore; 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A private family burial will take place at a later date in Butler, Alabama.
