Bettie June Cassel, 91, born in Beardstown, IL and a resident of Theodore, passed away, Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at home with her family by her side.  She was a retired teacher from the Illinois School for the Deaf.

She is survived by her son, Donald L. Summey and his wife, Marla.
