March 1, 1923 – January 24, 2008 In Loving Memory.
Andrew Harry Korbe was born March 1, 1923 in Sewickly, PA. “Andy” went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 24, 2008.

During World War II he served his country as a U.S. Army Medic throughout Europe; most notably at the Battle of the Bulge.

He is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 65 years, Eleanor G. Korbe and son, Michael (Donna) Korbe. “Grandpa” loved his grandsons, Drew (Tonya) Korbe and Derek Korbe, his five beloved great grandchildren and his loving sister, June (Philip) Ege.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 28, 2008 from 12 PM until 2 PM at Hughes Cremation & Funeral Service with a memorial service beginning at 2 PM. Military honors will be rendered by the U.S. Army.
