September 30, 1921 – June 5, 2008 In Loving Memory.
Allan Halsey Fountain, age 86, born in Lake Placid, NY and formerly of Minnesota, died Thursday, June 5, 2008 in Foley. Mr. Fountain had lived in Baldwin County for the past 23 years and had worked as an automobile mechanic. He was a Navy veteran of WWII where he flew on P-24 airplanes as a co-pilot. He was a member of and an altar boy at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lillian and was a member of the American Legion and VFW.

He is survived by his wife Karen White Hargrove of Lillian and a sister, Mary Miller of Lillian and other relatives and friends. He has a very close friend, Joe Connor of Fairhope.

Abiding by his wishes, his body was donated for medical study. His cremated remains will be inurned at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola at a later date.
