William Arnold Clark, 83, of Spanish Fort, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at a local healthcare facility.
Mr. Clark was born in Forrest County, Mississippi and was retired from Kimberly-Clark Corporation after 36 years of service, many as a shift supervisor. He was a member of East Pointe Baptist Church, Spanish Fort Masonic Lodge, the Order of the Eastern Star, Abba Temple Shrine and was a Grand Royal Patron in the Amarath organization.
Mr. Clark was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and was an avid outdoorsman and gardener. He enjoyed traveling and engraving funny plaques and name plates. Most of all he loved his family.
Arnold was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernice Clark.
Survivors include his wife, Melva D. Clark of Spanish Fort; daughter, Nancy D. (Gregory) Rustige, Sr. of Turnerville, AL; two step-daughters, Linda (Ed) Nelson of Magnolia Springs, AL and Kay Kidd of Daphne, AL; two brothers, James (Ruth) Clark of Houston, TX and Frederick (Teresa) Clark of Sumrall, MS; four grandchildren, Gregory Rustige, Jr., Katherine Barron, Thomas (Cindy) Nelson, William (Paula) Nelson; 8 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 10, 2011 at Memory Gardens of Fairhope. Dr. Rob Burns will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity or to the American Cancer Society.
