In Loving Memory
December 30, 1928 – October 8, 1920
Sarah Odom Meadows, 84, a native of Mobile County and longtime Citronelle resident, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Meadows retired from International Paper in 1994 and she was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
Sarah is survived by her daughter, Gayon Gray of Pigeon Forge, TN and her son, Larry K. Meadows of Defuniak Springs, FL; two brothers, Sam Odom, II and Doyle Odom both of Citronelle; five sisters, Helen Strickland, Waudean Savoie and Wanda Gartman all of Citronelle; Joyce Osborne of Chunchula and Bonnie Lathan of Hammond, LA. She has six grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Sarah’s life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Living Word Church. Pastor Mark Hobbs will officiate. The family would like to thank the staff of Citronelle Convalescent Center for their kind and loving care.

Condolences on the homegoing ot Sarah. I knew her when she was a beautiful young lady. She was always kind, fun-loving and a great friend. I feel privileged to have known her for the short time I lived in Citronelle.
