I am so sorry Mrs. Newman but we both know he is in a better place. When I lost my Dad a dear friend told me a quote “God gave us memories so that we may have roses in December!” We have such wonderful memories about our dear precious Mr. Newman. He is loved and will be missed.
    Love and Prayers your way,
    Kelley

I have such wonderful memories of Bob as my NJROTC instructor at McEachern. He was an honorable man, whose wit, wisdom and most importantly, a great sense of humor endeared him to myself and others. Plus we could talk about airplanes together! I don’t know how McEachern lucked out in getting CDR Newman, but we were all the better for it. Fair winds and blue sky Bob. You are missed.
    Sincerely,
    David Robinson

My sincere condolences to family of a great teacher. He served his country and then paid it forward in the small community of Powder Springs, Georgia. He invested personal time and energy in changing the lives of countless high school students. He encouraged growth, strength, and courage to “step out of the box.” His students broke boundaries and pushed through the stigmas of high school hierarchy. It is with this leadership he motivated and instilled values so we, as young adults, may surpass adversity. He will be forever remembered.
