Robert “Bob” Edward Thomas, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2015 in Fairhope, AL at the age of 73.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Otis Thomas and Mary Louise Halstead Thomas and his son, Price Edward Thomas/Walsh.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Tena Pate, and her children, Nancy “Bitsy” Pate, John Ashley Pate and Deborah Pate Lister (Joe); his daughters, Cindy Thomas and Samantha Walsh; grandchildren, Rosie McClendon, Blan McClendon, and Cassie Wells Poplin; sisters, Janet Elizabeth Thomas Laurence (Johnny), Mary Louise Thomas St. Clair and Annie Thomas Prosser (Dean);13 nieces and nephews and 20 great nieces and nephews.
He was born on December 10, 1941 in Pasadena, California. He graduated from John Muir High School, then served four years in the United States Navy from 1958-1961.
Bob was the owner of Architectural Antique Warehouse and Bo-Shay Stained Glass Company. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling. He was a generous and witty individual who loved architectural antiques. He worked and met many wonderful people, who incorporated the architectural antiques into their homes and businesses.
