Jessie Richard “Ricky” Parsons, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020, at the age of 61.

Ricky grew up in Fairhope, Alabama, and was a 1977 graduate of Fairhope High School. He graduated from Faulkner State Community College.

Ricky was employed by Golden Flake Snack Foods for 25 years and was loved and affectionately known by many as “The Chip Man”.

Ricky is survived by his son, Terron Parsons (Jennifer) Fairhope, AL; daughter, Tiffany Rezner (Andy) Fairhope, AL; stepson, Timothy Barre (Canasta) Marrero, LA; grandchildren, Katie, Audrey, Ava, and Vada Parsons; Nathan Howard, Nolan and Clayton Rezner, Isabella, Abigail and Zooey Barre.   He is also survived by his sister, Rose Mary Henderson (Morgan) Fairhope, AL; nephews, Troy Parsons, Danny Henderson and Jeremey Henderson and nieces, Kristen and Promise; and the mother of his children, Sharon Rayborn Carroll of Fairhope along with numerous other relatives, family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Malcom Clayton Parsons, his mother, Mary Evelyn Parsons, and his brother, Randy Parsons.

There will be a time of visitation at Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL, on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.  Masks must be worn in the building and social distancing rules will apply

In lieu of flowers Ricky asked that donations be made to the MSA-Coalition at!/donation/checkout

Expressions of condolence for the family may be made at  Hughes Funeral Home, Daphne, AL, is handling service arrangements for the family.

    Ricky always brought a smile whenever we happened upon each other. The world cried when Ricky changed his address to Heaven. Bless all of you who mourn his loss.
