Phillip W. Mitchell, age 52, born in New Orleans, died unexpectedly on October, 3, 2008 in Mobile at his home.

He was a manager for Crescent Hardwood Flooring and was highly respected in that industry. He was a member of the Elks and was formerly of Pensacola Beach, FL and Dallas, TX.

Survivors include his daughter, Lacy Mitchell of Pasadena, TX; a brother, Vic Mitchell of Pensacola Beach, FL and 2 sisters, Pat Shirejean of Austin, TX and Celia Mitchell of San Antonio, TX.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
