I was looking up my Aunt’s Address to send her a movie of my daughter’s wedding. Here I learned that she has passed away. I am so very saddened at the loss and more so that over the past few weeks no one contacted me to tell me of her loss. I have very fond memories of her since childhood. She was my aunt that always bought the best Christmas presents and showed me care and love. She was married to my mother’s brother, Albert “Hackey” Lillquist. When he died over 30 years ago she never remarried and never got over his loss. He was to love of her life. Because she was never able to have children I was so happy that she was able to rent a room to a young man that later she adopted as her own adult son. Our family was so glad that she finally had a child of her own and that this son treated her just like the adoring mother that she so deserved to be treated. He showered her with the love that she also deserved. She adored her new daughter-in-law and grand daughter as well and was so proud of watching this little one grow and how smart she is. This past year she told me how she was not doing well, was on oxygen, and even then I sensed that she was trying to be positive and see the bright side of life. How thankful and grateful I am for her new family. I will let the rest of my family know of the loss. Though we were always separated by miles and did not see her often know that we too loved her so. I love you for being here for her during her golden years and making her so joyful! I am going to send the movie of my daughter’s wedding, Hoping you will get it I will send it to her address so that you can see the family from her dear husband, Hackey. My three sisters attended the wedding in Palas Verdes, CA and my 61 year old brother passed away in June 2015. My older brother was not able to attend. With tears I am saying “May we all meet in Heaven!”
