Pauline Sweatt, age 70, a native and lifelong resident of Daphne, died Monday, October 8, 2007. Mrs. Sweatt exemplified what Jesus meant when He said to love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind and to love your neighbor as yourself. She was the best wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of Eastern Shore Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Cimino. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Albert Sweatt of Daphne; two sons, Dr. Jeffrey (Bridget) Sweatt of New Albany, MS and Rev. Greg (Julie) Sweatt of Dacula, GA; two brothers, Jason (Lillian) Gregor and Billy (Marilyn) Gregor both of Daphne.
She has five grandchildren, Holly Sweatt, Emily Sweatt, Alexander Sweatt, Benjamin Sweatt and Jonathan Sweatt and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Eastern Shore Baptist Church beginning at 9:00 AM Wednesday, October 10, 2007 followed by the funeral services at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Malbis Memorial Church Cemetery.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Eastern Shore Baptist Church Building Fund.
