Paul Eugene Snyder, 83, born in Princeton, MO and a Fairhope resident for the past 3 years, died after a brief illness on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at a local hospital. Paul was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. He attended both The Church of His Presence and Church on the Eastern Shore. Paul was retired from the John Deere Company. He and his wife, Dee, moved here from Branson, MO where they had lived for 21 years managing hotels while Paul built marquee signs for many different Branson businesses. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Edith Snyder and his grandson, Michael Bowman.
Surviving are his wife, Dee of Fairhope; son, Joe (Lori) Snyder, Bloomfield, Iowa; four daughters, Kathy (Tom) Lange, Boulder, CO, Teresa (Farrell) Bramlet, Longmont, CO, Shelly (Jeff) Hofer, Hampton, IA; Sheila Hanson, Detroit Lakes, MN; one sister, Sue Wells, Bethany, MO; 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services with military honors will be at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL at 10:15 am on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013. Officiating will be Pastor John Michael Kilpatrick.
