Chris, Matthew, Lisa, Friends & Family,
We will be lifting you all up in our prayers.
Mike (and Pat) were dear friends to us. May God comfort your hearts, and remind you always of the love and good times you shared. He will live on in your hearts, and ours, too.
May God’s presence and love for each of you be very real to you, and minister to you in this difficult time.

There is nothing; so far as I have discovered, as painful as the loss of a parent. No words of comfort, no acts of kindness, no spoken or written word will make any of your pain go away right now but have faith and it will pass as you already surely know. I remember you and your family with a smile on my face. The “woods” office is still here but in desperate need of repair same with your old home and your grandparents home; I pass by it quite often and always think of your mom and dad; and Ms Dawn and Mr. Bruce. My how time goes by. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of your family.

I am so sad to learn that Mike pased away in October. I send most sincere condolences to his partner, children and grandchildren. I am one of his 2 cousins on his dad’s, the Mety, side of the family. The other is my brother, Ron; our mother, Margaret Mety Chapin, was Bruce Mety’s sister. I only talked or emailed with Mike infrequently, but I always enjoyed it. If any of the family would like to be in touch, my email is [email protected] and home phone is 301-565-7862.
