    Dear Family of Martha Broadus,

Martha was a colleague of mine twenty-five years ago. We worked together to help students in my class that she served in her Special Education class. I always found her to be a caring and considerate teacher who did her best for her students. Martha stayed involved with a group of teachers from Palmer Elementary School who have met regularly through the years to socialize and stay connected. She was always a joy to have at our gatherings. Martha will be missed by many.

    My sincere condolences,
    Gloria Landi

Fall of 1987 I am promoted into the third grade at E.A Palmer Elementary. Mrs. Broadus is my teacher, and for nine months I am challenged and inspired by someone who would make a remarkable, lasting impression on both my professional and personal life.

May the family and friends of Mrs. (Martha) Broadus find strength and comfort in knowing that she truly left this world a little better than how she found it, through the numerous lives she touched through her teaching. Grateful to have been one of her students.

All my love and sympathy to Dean, Matt, and especially Laura. Aunt Martha was a loving mother and she was loved and cared for until the very end. So glad I got to see her one more time before the end. Love, cousin Peri
