Karen Callaway Schwartz, age 42, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 after a long battle with breast cancer.

Karen was a graduate of Foley High School and a graduate of the University of South Alabama School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse in the ICU at the University of South Alabama Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Schwartz of Mobile; 2 sons, Jacob (Caroline)Hartley, Joshua Hartley, and a daughter, Brittney E. Hartley all of Mobile. She is also survived by her parents, Donald “Tom” and Lavada Callaway of Gulf Shores, AL; a brother, Brian(Judy)Callaway and 4 nieces, Madalyn, Laura, Kristin, and Gabrielle Callaway all of Mobile and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, March 14th, 2008 from 10:30AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM at St. Dominic
