Joseph Duphorn passed away March 10, 2015 at his home with his family by his side. He served four years in Navy during the Korean War.  After twenty two years he retired from the Philadelphia Police Department and moved to Mobile, Alabama in 1979. He later retired from the Post Office.

He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Duphorn. He is survived by his four children; Joseph M. (Helene) Duphorn, Donna Arguello, Lori (Joseph) Gaston and Heather Hall. His twelve grandchildren who were is pride and joy… Kelly Duphorn, Ryan Duphorn, Matthew Duphorn, Brooke Koger, Kyle Arguello, Gabby Arguello, Brittany Gaston, Alex Gaston, Brady Gaston, Hadley Gaston, Bryce Hall and Brantlee Hall.

The family would like to thank Ginger Rouse and Elise Split at the Heart Failure Clinic at Mobile Infirmary and everyone at Aseracare Hospice.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Christ United Methodist Church, 6101 Grelot Rd, Mobile, AL 36609. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Christ United Methodist Church. Expressions of condolence may be offered at Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home and Crematory, 7951 American Way, Daphne, AL 36526.
