We are so saddened by the loss of your Dad. We are here for you, back in Georgia, if you need anything. He sounds like an amazing man and wonderful father and grandfather. We will honor him by giving to the food pantry, what a wonderful charity for his community.

Although I did not know Captian Joe, I know his daughter Amanda. Amanda I am sure is a reflection of her Father. She helped me and my family get settted here on the eastern shore when I first started work at the Grand Hotel. I canot tell you how much that meant to me and my family. She has been helpful and always there for you when you need her no matter what. She is always ready to listen if you have a problem and give you encouragement.Since Amanda is a reflection of her father I know he was a fine man indeed. Our Prayers go out to you and your family. God will give you the strenghth to get through this difficult time. Chef Mike & Family.and Culinary Crew.

    Liz (and family),

Words cannot express the sorrow we feel for you during this difficult time. Mom and I definitely want you to know that we will always be here for you and praying for you! The love that OUR daddies gave us is beyond measure and limitless! Just know that memories will definitely help you get through this time, but allow yourself to grieve. As you know…it is definitely a whirlwind of feelings. You spent those last moments with him, and you know as well as we do, those were the most important and most precious moments possible! Continue to trust in God, and be happy to know that your father is spending his eternity with no pain and free from any suffering. God bless you Lizzie…and know that ANYTIME you want to talk, day or night, please do not hesitate to call me!!! We are ready to open our arms with hugs, our heart to love, and our ears to listen! Love you Dizzy Lizzy! With all of our love!!!

Mathew, Elizabeth, Amanda, Diana and family,

My heart is filled with love and sympathy for each one of you. It is very big to lose our father’s and I am thinking of each of you in this time of loss. Know that he will always be near, tho not in the body. He will always be close at heart. May Divine Mother lift him onto her lap and may he rest in peace.
    Your loving cousin,
