J. Malcolm Barter, age 90, born in Beverly, Massachusetts, died on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at a local healthcare facility.

Mr. Barter was a former resident of The Gardens in Daphne. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University and was a journalist and editor of the Downeast Magazine in the state of Maine.
