November 30, 1947 – February 23, 2011 In Loving Memory.
James W. “Jimmy” Logan, 63, born in Algiers, Louisiana, and a resident of Daphne, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. He was a veteran of the US Navy where he was awarded a National Defense Service Medal and a 1st Good Conduct Medal.

He was the owner of West Mobile Electric where he worked as an electrical contractor, but more than that, he was a man of service where he sought to help anyone in need. His work and his family were his life. His most fulfilling moments were grilling with his family, his friends and his Green Egg.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Dr. Wanda Champion Logan; son, Joshua Logan, Opelika; daughters, Paige (Iain) Walker, Boulder, CO and Stephanie L. Recht (Matt), Ft. Thomas, KY; brother, William “Bill” Logan (Hunter and Austin), Indian Rocks Beach, FL and a half brother, Steve Logan; a daughter in spirit, Linda Kirksey, Fairhope; two half sisters, Cathy Logan Eden and Kim Blankenchip; 5 grandsons, Graeme, Lochlan, and Euan Walker and Davis and Jackson Recht; his mother in law, Irene Champion, Georgetown, Al; brothers and sisters in law, Russell Champion, Barbara Faircloth, Sheila Wright, and Todd Champion; special nephews Rusty Champion and Bret (Cristin) Faircloth; and many other nieces and nephews.
