    To the family,

Jeff and I were close friends in middle and high school . We lived one street apart growing up. After he left I still saw his mom walking the block everyday with her friends until I left the neighborhood 8 years ago. Jeff was such a fun and kind friend! I offer my deepest condolences to all the family. RIP

Juanita and family–Sherie and I were so sorry to hear of Jeff’s death. I knew Jeff at Huntingdon College and was one of his brothers in Kappa Sigma. Although he turned me down, he was supposed to be one of the groomsmen at our wedding. A more kind, fun-loving person you could not know. I have so many memories of him during those years at Huntingdon and what a fine person he was. He could always make us laugh to the most ridiculous situations. Our prayers go out to you and your family in this time of need. May God Be With You In This Adversity.

Sincere condolences to each member of the family as well as Jeff’s many friends. He was a friend to us all in school and have no doubt that trait carried over in to his adult life. Rest in Peace, Jeff.

Such a loss- Martee is right- Jeff was a great friend to all of us at First United Methodist church in Crestview, Florida and at Crestview High School. I could count Jeff as one of my best buds back in those days. Many years after I graduated from High School, my mom and dad built a house on Gillis so that they could be near their friends in the neighborhood- with Mr. and Mrs.McMillan a few houses away. Jeff was a great comfort to my sister and I when our dad and then later when our mother passed away. I’m so sorry Mrs.Juanita.

It’s a passage, not a place to stay.
Grief is not a sign of weakness

Nita, please know that I am sending my love, hugs and prayers to you across those long ol’ miles. I remember how excited my parents were for you and Billy when Jeff arrived and I vividly remember the love and excitement contained in the letters we received from Aunt Ethel about her new grandboy! Feel the strength and love of your boy, and Billy, and our loved ones, being smiled and showered down on you. Love you all and love you, girl.

I just found this! I could not believe what I read. Jeff was the only person missing from our 10 year high school reunion that I wished had been there. My thoughts are with his children and the rest of his family. I will ALWAYS remember the fun we had in high school and what a truly sweet person Jeff was.

I just learned of Jeff’s death. So sorry to read about this tragic event. Jeff and I served on the CCYM together during our high school years. So many fun memories of CCYM meetings around the Al-WFla conference. We had not communicated in years, but it’s all come flooding back. He was always so fun to be around. Again, very sorry for your loss.

I just now learned of Jeff passing. I’m so sorry for all of you. Especially Will and Tanner. You are awesome boys and I’m so sorry you have had to go through this. I lost my mom almost a year ago so I know what you are feeling. Even though your father and I were only married for a short amount of time, he shered a love I will never forget. He was a great man and I hope that you feel the same about him as I do.
