James A. Wagoner, Jr., 87 of the Barnwell Community, died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. James was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and owned and operated
S & W Wrecking Company. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II and was a loving husband and father.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Darleen B. Wagoner of Barnwell; sons, Claude Dennis “Butch” Wagoner of Santa Rosa Beach, FL and James Armor “Buddy” Wagoner, III of Mobile; daughter, Edith Elizabeth (James) Cluster of Barnwell and 5 grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, April 19 at Memory Gardens of Fairhope. Rev. Mark Wilson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice.
