August 7, 1935 – May 8, 2010 In Loving Memory.
Harry M. Ridgeway, Jr., 74, born in Montgomery and a resident of William F. Green State Veterans Home in Bay Minette, died on Saturday, May 8, 2010.
After serving 20 years in the United States Air Force, and serving in the Korean Conflict, Mr. Ridgeway was employed as a Chicago police officer for the next 17 years. After coming back to the South, Mr. Ridgeway ran the Southern Trail Barbecue restaurant in Montgomery.
He is survived by his church family at Healing Waters Church in Bay Minette and a host of friends and
and his family at William F. Green.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 13 at the William F. Green Veterans Home,300 Faulkner Dr., Bay Minette, AL. , with Pastor Richard Daniels officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:15pm on Monday, May 17, 2010 in Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL with military honors. Mr. Ridgeway will be escorted to the cemetery by the Patriot Guard Riders who will also be the pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to William F. Green State Veterans Home.
