Harry L. Michels, age 81, born in Ocala, FL and a resident of Fairhope for the past 20 years, died Saturday, March 29, 2008 at a local healthcare facility.

Mr. Michels was a retired chemical engineer and a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife Jeanne of Fairhope; 3 sons, Mark Michels of Fairhope, Kurt Michels of Visalia, CA and Doug Michels of Visalia, CA; a brother, Tom Michels of Dunlap, TN; a sister, Jean Floyd of Lake City, FL and 4 grandchildren.
