August 1, 1962 – December 30, 2009 In Loving Memory.
Gary Lee Copas, age 47, died Wednesday, December 30, 2009 after a brief illness.

Gary was born in Santa Clara, CA and moved his family to Daphne in 2003. An avid hunter and fisherman, Gary loved cooking, going to the beach and riding his Harley-Davidson with friends Bubba and Tony. He said the best job he ever had was being Hayden’s “Poppy”. He always had wild and funny stories to tell from his days of building motorcycles and taking trips around the country with his dad two brothers. He will surely be missed by all who knew him and he will be remembered by those stories.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Catherine; daughter, Ashley Spears (Chris) LaFroscia of Daphne; a brother, Bryan “Chubbs” (Sandra) Copas of Hollister, CA; the light of his life, his “little buddy”, grandson, Hayden LaFroscia; many aunts, uncles, cousins, neices, nephews and many friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2009 from 12 pm until 2 pm at the funeral home.
