Edd Ferrell Lindsey, 71, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 25, 2013. Edd was born in Lax, Georgia and was a resident of Elsanor for nearly 30 years. He worked at Gulf Chrysler in Foley where he was a ‘Super Mechanic’ for over 20 years. Gardening and landscaping at his home were his favorite hobbies. Edd will be remembered for being a really good friend and neighbor, but most of all, a loving husband, father and spoiler of his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Lindsey of Elsanor; two sons, Eddie Lindsey of Anderson, SC and Randy Lindsey of North Carolina; four daughters, Anita Andrews of Elberta, AL, Laurie Lindsey of Daphne, Glenda Riggs of Anderson, SC, Kim Mason of Anderson, SC and daughter in law, Tammy Lindsey of Clermont, FL; thirteen grandchildren, Celine Lilly, Kai, Tiffani, Tyler, Corey, Kelly, Kristopher, Bradley, Jessie, Jamie, Gabby, Mya, and Meeka; three great grandchildren, Karson, Krystal and Lovalean.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, April 29, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Robertsdale. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 until time of service.
