You will always be the first man I ever loved. Thank you for letting me feel the love you had for me at least once before you left me for good. I can now say I have truly felt the love you held inside all the years. I was told by others just how much my father loved me and how proud he was of me and Grandma always told me “You are the Apple of your Daddy’s eye” but I had doubt in that until now. I wish you would have shared that with me long before you were on your deathbed and I wish I could have held that feeling a little longer but I know you are at peace now and without sadness or suffering. I love you Daddy and I miss you everyday.
    Your firstborn
    And only Daughter
