Daniel M. ‘D.A’ Ard, 60, a lifelong resident of Baldwin County, living in Loxley, passed away Sunday morning, October 7, 2012, at a local hospital. He was a man who loved hunting and fishing and was such an avid gardener, that he could grow just about anything and worked as a carpenter. He is preceded in death by his sister, Winnie Faye Ard.
Surviving are his parents, Clarence O. and LaVonne Ard, Daphne; longtime companion, Kathy McGraw, Loxley; two brothers, Calvin Ard, Mobile and Charles (Deon) Ard, Fairhope; two sisters, Kathy (Keith) Kingan, Mobile and Barbara (Sidney) Foster, Daphne; friend, Raymond McGraw, Pensacola, FL; many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and longtime close friends.
A memorial visitation will be held at 5:30pm until 7:30pm, on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Hughes Funeral Home. Notes of condolence may be made at hughesfh.com. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home & Crematory, 7951 American Way, Daphne, AL.
